In the end Clapper’s most lasting mark is on you, his kids. There are very few children in the world that have had the blessing of a father like you have had. He has paved a way for you to know your Heavenly Father in a world where so many fathers do the opposite. His ceiling is now your floor…. I hope that I can be a father to my kids like your father has been to you.
(Quote: Scotty Wesley)

Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God (1Cor 10:31)

The Clappers have been involved in sponsoring students for higher education, personal discipleship that’s impacted many lives, carpentry training, building projects, animal projects, assistance with selling of goods produced in villages as well as Dave’s full time aviation service to remote villages. Beth and the children speak the Indonesian language and have established so many relationships in the past 10 years. Presently their desire is to remain in Papua and continue reaching out to those that they have come to love so dearly.

The remote village people that loved Pilot Dave know that he is not going to land at their airstrip anymore; their hearts are broken as they face the loss of their dear friend. Dave respected and loved the common man; they greatly loved him, and mourned deeply at his departure. It is important for the Papuan’s to know that they are loved by God and they are not being abandoned. Beth is praying for Gods grace and the opportunity to continue serving the Lord and manifesting His love to the remote villages and the people of Papua. Beth may not be able to fly an airplane, but she has the desire and courage to carry on their ministry just as Dave would want her to. God has placed it on her heart that the seeds sown by her husband will bring forth much fruit to the salvation of souls and for the glory of Christ.
